Community Extension Services Office (CESO), in partnership with the School of International Hospitality Management and the College of Business Administration, implemented a multi-faceted community outreach program in Barangay 96, Caloocan City in 2023. This program, which included a blood donation drive, vocational workshops, and community awareness seminars, sought to address local health needs and improve livelihood prospects.
The event began with an opening ceremony at the WCC Aeronautical & Technological College North Manila campus on August 12, 2023. Certified medical professionals collected 70 units of blood, benefiting local health services. Meanwhile, participants attended vocational workshops on skills like cooking and baking, empowering residents with practical skills for employment. Social awareness seminars further promoted community cohesion, with discussions on health, education, and environmental sustainability. This comprehensive outreach effort reflected CESO’s commitment to enhancing community welfare and sustainable development.
