WCC ATC Binalonan brought the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into an interactive campus activity through The Flight Path to 2030 Map Hunt, held during the institution’s 19th Founding Anniversary on March 17, 2026.
Spearheaded by the Quality Assurance and Technology Office, the activity challenged the student representatives from College of Aircraft and Avionics Technology, College Tourism Management, College of Aeronautical Engineering, and the Senior High School department to navigate the campus, locate clues, and complete tasks connected to the different SDGs.
The Map Hunt combined exploration, teamwork, and problem-solving to introduce the goals of the 2030 Agenda beyond a conventional classroom setting. As participants progressed through the challenge, they encountered sustainability concepts presented in a more accessible and participatory format.
The activity supported SDG 4: Quality Education by using experiential learning to encourage awareness of global sustainability issues. It also demonstrated how campus activities can make discussions about the SDGs more engaging for participants.
