WCC ATC Binalonan Tourism Students Host STRIDE Convention 2025

Third-year Tourism Management students of WCC ATC Binalonan organized the STRIDE Convention 2025 on April 29, 2025, at the Cabin Hall/Multi-Purpose Hall, gathering fellow Tourism Management students to explore the application of airline hospitality to Pangasinan tourism.

Held under the theme “Service Beyond 30,000 ft.: Applying Airline Hospitality to Pangasinan Tourism,” the convention featured industry professionals who shared perspectives on service practices and hospitality standards in aviation and tourism.

The convention featured Ms. Jessica Tabilin, Tourism Operations Officer II from the Local Government Unit of Binalonan, and Ms. Juliane Kate Da Silva, Lead Cabin Crew at Cebu Pacific Air, who discussed “Applying Airline Hospitality to Pangasinan Tourism.” Through the seminar, participants explored how principles of airline hospitality can be adapted to tourism establishments and destinations within Pangasinan.

Through the discussions, students gained a broader understanding of industry expectations and the role of service excellence in both aviation and tourism. The event also complemented classroom instruction with perspectives from professionals working in the field.

STRIDE Convention 2025 supported SDG 4: Quality Education by providing students with industry-informed learning relevant to their future roles in hospitality and tourism.
