WCC ATC Binalonan conducted SIPNAYAN, its Community Extension Tutorial Program, at Sta. Catalina Integrated School from October 21 to 23, 2025, providing 15 Grade 11 Senior High School learners with supplementary instruction in Mathematics and additional support in their schoolwork.
Faculty members and student volunteers from the College of Engineering facilitated the sessions in coordination with the Community Extension Services Office and Sta. Catalina Integrated School. They reviewed lessons, addressed participants’ questions, and provided individual and group guidance on topics that required further explanation.
The three-day program gave learners another opportunity to engage with academic material outside their regular classes. It also allowed faculty members and student volunteers to apply their knowledge through direct involvement in a community-based educational activity.
The initiative supported SDG 4: Quality Education by making supplementary learning assistance available to participating learners in Sta. Catalina. It also contributed to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through the collaboration between WCC ATC Binalonan and Sta. Catalina Integrated School.
