Messages of hope and support became visible across WCC ATC during Suicide Prevention Day 2025, as students and members of the campus community participated in a ribbon campaign and Freedom Wall centered on mental health awareness. The activities created spaces for reflection, encouragement, and open expression.
The ribbon symbolized courage, resilience, and healing, while the Freedom Wall allowed participants to share messages that others could read and carry with them. Together, these simple actions created social impact by reinforcing the value of listening, reaching out, and responding to others with care. They also helped make conversations about mental health more accessible within the campus community.
These efforts reflected SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being through their focus on mental health, emotional support, and help-seeking. By strengthening a culture of connection and care, the observance also contributed to the sustainability of a campus environment where people are encouraged to seek support and look out for one another.
