Community Extension Services Office’s (CESO) of WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) North Manila conducted the Children’s Nourishment Outreach Program. It provided nutritious meals and education on healthy eating to address childhood malnutrition in the surrounding community. On the event day, 80 children received balanced meals prepared by volunteers, including whole grains, proteins, and vegetables.
In addition to meal distribution, CESO facilitated interactive nutrition workshops for children and parents, where dietitians discussed food groups and healthy cooking methods. Basic health assessments, such as weight and height measurements, were conducted to track nutritional progress. This initiative highlights WCC ATC’s dedication to addressing malnutrition and promoting community health through sustainable programs and collaborations.
