The winning paper, titled 'iHANDA,' stood out among 24 entries from local and foreign submissions. It focuses on ensuring the availability and access to multi-hazards early warnings and disaster risk information for communities. Aligned with two Sustainable Development Goals, the Sendai Framework, and Ambisyon Natin 2040, the project successfully established a shared and immutable database within the existing barangay management information system. This database facilitates early warnings and service requests, encompassing vital aspects such as medical assistance, logistics, food, shelter, and more.

The presenters, Prof. Del Mundo and Prof. Curay express their gratitude to the College of Information Technology, CESO, and the institution for the support given to the project.
