August 02, 2024 - WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC-ATC) proudly announces the outstanding achievement of its Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology students at the 2nd Annual ASEAN-China-India Youth Leadership Summit (ACIYLS) 2024, held at Ateneo De Manila University on August 1-2, 2024.
This summit serves as the Philippine Round for the country qualifiers of the sustainability startathon, which addresses two of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). The competition witnessed 21 groups presenting sustainable projects from various universities and colleges across the country.
The winning entry, "EXERGY PROJECT" — a conversion unit designed to transform used oil into diesel — secured 1st Runner-up and the People's Choice Award in this prestigious event. This project highlights the ingenuity and commitment of WCC-ATC students to sustainable development and technological advancement.
