WCC ATC Participates in Timpuyog 2024 Conference

WCC Aeronautical and Technological College (WCC ATC) attended the one-day event "Timpuyog: 2024 ASEAN Conference for Region 1 Higher Education Institutions held at the Event Center of Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in San Carlos City, Pangasinan. The event focused on internationalization in higher education, ASEAN integration, and academic-industry collaboration.


The event's morning session featured keynote speakers, including Dr. Al Gerald S. Barde and Atty. Lily Freida M. Milla, who emphasized the role of higher education in fostering resilience, innovation, and regional cooperation across ASEAN. An open forum allowed participants to engage with the speakers on internationalization strategies and educational initiatives.

There were ASEAN booths and a culinary showdown, where participants showcased ASEAN countries' cultures and culinary skills. Attendees also networked during a festive lunch, celebrating ASEAN cuisine.



In the afternoon, higher education institutions shared their experiences in achieving international rankings such as WURI, THE Impact Rankings, and QS Stars. The day concluded with the World Café networking session, awarding certificates, and announcing winners for the creative booth and culinary competitions.

Timpuyog 2024 highlighted the vital role of higher education in regional cooperation and educational advancement, reinforcing collaboration between academe and industry.
