WCC Aeronautical and Technological College inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Poleteknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug (PPI) and Indonesia Civil Pilot Academy Banyuwangi (API) to explore various academic collaborations to advance students' skills and competence.
PPI is Indonesia's most prominent and oldest aviation training center. It has been accorded the status of ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre to establish a facility of excellence in the Asia and Pacific Region. On the other hand, API is a school that the Indonesian Record Museum awarded for being the first Aviation School capable of operating Amphibious Aircraft and managing Water Airports (Seaplane). These institutions provide international education and training standards for pilots and flight operations personnel.
Through this partnership, WCC ATC students can now have the opportunity to advance their skills through internships, joint research activities, and publications; benchmarking and sharing of best practices; cooperative projects on internationalization, and exchange of academic resources and other information.
Both institutions and WCC ATC aim to produce future professionals who are competitive and ready to work in the national and international aviation industry.
