The Department of Student Affairs (DSA) and the Unified Council of Aviators (UCA) successfully concluded an 18-day campaign aimed at ending violence against women and children (VAWC).
The campaign featured a variety of activities designed to raise awareness, empower women, and promote gender equality. It culminated in a talk show titled "Babae: Balitaktakan, Kwentuhan at Bahaginan para kay Eba." This event featured discussions, sharing of personal experiences, and expert insights on VAWC.
The goal of the event was to create a safe and supportive space for women to connect, learn, and empower one another. Through a combination of creative activities, education, and community engagement, the DSA and UCA were able to raise awareness of VAWC, empower women, and promote a culture of respect and equality.
The Unified Council of Aviators (UCA) has been awarded the prestigious "Best VAW Project" Award from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 1. This recognition is a testament to their exceptional work and dedication in addressing the critical issue of violence against women (VAW).
In addition to the overall award, a special recognition to Ms. Mariel Joy Limon for her outstanding performance in the Infographics Contest. Congratulations to everyone involved in this remarkable accomplishment. Your hard work and commitment to promoting gender equality and combating VAW are truly commendable. Let us continue to strive for a safer and more inclusive society for all.
