WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) has formalized a partnership with Clark Development Corporation (CDC) under the Town and Gown Program. This collaboration seeks to address the increasing demand for skilled aviation professionals while providing WCC ATC students with immersive, industry-standard training opportunities.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), signed between CDC and WCC ATC, marks a significant milestone in bridging academic excellence with real-world industry needs. Through this partnership, graduating students of WCC ATC’s Aviation Maintenance Technician Program will undergo hands-on training with Clark Aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) locators—key players in the country’s aviation sector.
The partnership addresses the shortage of skilled aviation professionals in the Clark Freeport Zone and across the country. By training alongside industry experts, students will gain valuable, practical experience in aircraft maintenance. Additionally, WCC ATC will align its curriculum with the evolving demands of the aviation industry, equipping graduates with the skills and knowledge required to meet global standards.
Representing WCC ATC, the signing was attended by Dr. Raymond Patrick V. Guico, President; Dr. Roger Martinez Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Joey Aldrich Almanza, Dean of the College of Avionics and Maintenance Technology; and Prof. Jerome Alamario, Program Head of the College of Aircraft Maintenance Technology. They were joined by CDC key officials, led by its President & CEO, Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera.
