World Citi Colleges (WCC) and WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) have taken a significant step in fostering international collaboration through the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) Research Network. The signing ceremony was held during the P2A Annual General Meeting on December 5, 2024, at SEAMEO Innotech, Quezon City.
Representing WCC and WCC ATC, International Affairs and Strategic Partnerships Office (IASPO) Director Dr. Dick Eugenio signed the MOU alongside Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Dr. Ethel Agnes Pascua-Valenzuela.
This landmark agreement opens opportunities for WCC and WCC ATC to engage in research collaborations with over 130 higher education institutions across the ASEAN region. Through the P2A network, the WCC and WCC ATC aim to strengthen their commitment to cross-cultural understanding, workforce education, and the promotion of peace and harmony within the ASEAN community.
Founded in 2012 by five leading ASEAN universities, P2A serves as a dynamic platform for higher education institutions across the region to collaborate in advancing education, cultural appreciation, and regional development.
