During the Aerolympics 2024 event, WCC Aeronautical & Technological College Guidance Office organized a special activity aimed at encouraging students to prioritize self-care, address their insecurities, and celebrate personal growth. This initiative was designed to create a safe and supportive environment where students could engage in fun and meaningful activities that fostered emotional well-being.
One of the main attractions was the “POP YOUR INSECURITIES!” activity, where students participated in a symbolic act of confronting and overcoming their insecurities. Alongside this, the booth offered an art painting station, allowing students to express themselves creatively and embrace their individuality. In addition to the interactive experiences, the guidance office also handed out small but thoughtful tokens such as candies and heart-shaped crochet pieces, each accompanied by positive messages. These tokens served as gentle reminders that the guidance office is always available as a source of support, ready to listen and provide help to anyone in need of someone to talk to.
This initiative by the WCC ATC Guidance Office was not only a way to promote mental and emotional health but also part of a broader effort to cultivate a school community where every individual is seen, heard, and valued. By organizing these activities, the guidance office aimed to emphasize that everyone in the school matters and deserves to feel important and supported, reinforcing the message that seeking help is a sign of strength, and that personal growth is something to be celebrated.
