Among 1,477 universities from 95 countries, WCC ATC achieved impressive standings: Rank 4 in the Province of Pangasinan, Rank 6 in Region 1, Rank 27 in the Philippines, Rank 391 in Asia, and Rank 715 in the World.
These rankings highlight WCC ATC’s steadfast commitment to advancing environmental sustainability and fostering innovative green initiatives. By integrating sustainability into its operations, curriculum, and campus culture, WCC ATC reaffirms its dedication to addressing global environmental challenges while preparing its academic community to be proactive stewards of the planet.
The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, launched by Universitas Indonesia in 2010, is a pioneering global benchmark for sustainability in higher education. Using 39 indicators across six key criteria, the rankings assess universities’ commitment to climate action, energy and water conservation, waste management, green transportation, and sustainability education and research. This year’s rankings highlight the theme “Instituting UI GreenMetric World University Rankings: The Way Forward,” emphasizing the vital role of higher education institutions in tackling climate change and promoting sustainable development.
